Senate Confirms Hayden to Head the CIA

Of the many reasons that Michael Hayden is a poor choice for the job is his inexperience. Hayden has NO experience in the area where the CIA has had its problems: Developing human intelligence. Spies on the ground. In today's hotspots - in places like Iraq, and Iran. The Bush administration has been firing the very people at the CIA who had that expertise, those who had the experience and the contacts. Why? Because they told the Emperor that he had no clothes.

Hayden was responsible for developing and implementing the surveillance programs for spying on Americans at the NSA without regard to Americans' Constitutionally guaranteed rights:

Hayden has failed to stand up to Bush when ordered to break both domestic and international law. At Hayden's confirmation hearing last week, Senators Feingold and Wyden accused him of misleading Congress in 2002 when he said the government was obtaining warrants to conduct surveillance.
